Today more than ever, we need to remember those Patriots who helped form this country nearly 250 years ago. These Patriots lived during a time when people were ruled not governed. They rose up to create the greatest country in the world.
I started by researching my own ancestors many years ago. I then got hooked on Revolutionary War History, not just ancestry. As I research the genealogy of my own Patriots, I gained an understanding of how they participated in the formation of our country.
I now research Patriots to make sure that they are not forgotten and I research their service to make sure their actions are known to all.

As I have gotten older, I fondly remember the year 1976. I was just a little boy, but I remember being dressed up with my cousins as a colonial boy and participating is a small hometown parade.
